Personally, I like your way of thinking! Just because SAP didn't release Inport, you didn't give up. You still want to try in some way in achieving this situation! 
But, I had to say it's really really hard and it still depends on Inports on the TargetScreen. So, I would say, NOT POSSIBLE!
